There’s a whole lot more than your typical Turkish delight at this shop. School yourself in savory stuffed pastries, like golzeme (made with phylo dough) and bourek (made of pancake-like dough), which are served hot, flaky and filled with meats, cheeses or sautéed veggies. Still have room? Satisfy your sweet tooth with a rich, sticky piece (or five…) of fresh baked baklava, or sip a hot cup of Salep, a cinnamon-spiced drink made of ground orchid roots.
