Momo Glassworks

J03

In a restored farmhouse located in idyllic Northampton, Massachusetts, glass has come a long way under the artistic guidance of Edo Mor and Rosario Torres.

This husband-and-wife team marry time honored fused glass techniques with elements of collage, cloissone, and ceramics to create fiercely unique art jewelry made with 100% recycled glass. Drawing inspiration from their travels, the natural world, and the lush creations of artists such as Gustav Klimt & Marc Chagall, Momo Glassworks charts undiscovered waters in the craft world with unabashed experimentation and the fusion of distinct methodologies.

As a true family business, Rosario's mother and sister knit & weave scarves and shawls designed by Rosario under one of their other artistic endeavors, Momo Threads. These ingenious one-of-a-kind scarves are created in the "ascot" or "keyhole" style so that they join in the front -- a handy feature on those cold, wintry days.
