It’s a proven fact that mozzarella cheese makes just about anything better (though the test results for those mozzarella root beer floats we’ve been working on remain inconclusive). And, in our humble opinion, the next big thing in mozzarella is the mozarepa.
Imagine hot, a bit gooey (in a good way), and simply delicious. Venezuelan in origin with a heavy dose of Italian – we are talking mozzarella after all – the mozarepa features creamy mozzarella cheese melted between two grilled cornmeal cakes. You then customize your mozarepa with a choice of savory toppings like pesto, mushrooms and, yes, more cheese (feta). Or sweeten your mozarepa with fruit and Nutella.
So, if you are finding yourself a bit pizza-ed or panini-ed out, we recommend a mozarepa. Unfortunately, they’re gonna just destroy the diet but hey, it’s the holidays.
